The following pre-packaged resource, derived from this base command, is available:
Applied Parameters: None
This command is used to compare the components in the schematic project, against the parts listed in the PartsDoc. If any parts in the project have changed, that part is updated in the PartsDoc and a new Smart Parts Analysis is performed. The analysis will attempt to find a suitable part in the Ciiva database, and detail that part in the PartsDoc. The designer should then confirm that this part is suitable, and change it if required. Once this has been done, the Update Schematic command can be run to push the latest PartsDoc details back into the schematic.

Use this command to check that the components in the schematic project match those in the PartsDoc, and if not, import any changes needed to re-synchronize the PartsDoc. Typically this is done whenever there are design changes performed on the schematic. The current synchronization state is displayed in the Design Status column of the Design view in the PartsDoc.
After importing changes into the PartsDoc, the Smart Parts Analysis process will automatically start. To learn more about the Ciiva Smart Parts Analysis, refer to the page Using Ciiva Smart Parts in your Design.
