Clone a Component

Step 1

Select the base, manufacturer or supplier component in the component library navigator to be cloned. Right-click on the selected component to show the popup menu and select the clone base/manufacturer/supplier component menu option.

Step 2

Make any required changes to the component properties in the popup dialog box. Modified fields will be shown with a coral red background. Click update to create the cloned component.

Step 3

After the component has been successfully cloned, the component library navigator will be automatically refreshed.
