Change a Base Component in a Bill of Materials

Step 1

Open the Bill of Materials (BOM) and navigate to the component designator or designators for which you wish to change the base component. Right-click on the base component linked to the designator(s) and select the change base component option.

Step 2

Select the base component you would like to replace it with from the list of available base components. Use the filters to help search for the replacement base component. Click update to confirm the replacement. The BOM navigator will be refreshed automatically.
