Part Search and Select

Adding manufacturer and supplier components to the component library and a Bill of Materials (BOM) is very fast and efficient as they can be added directly from the online search results. There is no need to manually enter any part number information, which reduces the risk of error in specifying an incorrect part number.

For instance, you may have a manufacturer component in your BOM, but no supplier or supplier part number information. You can easily search for the manufacturer component online, find the suppliers which supply this part, and automatically create new supplier components and add them to the BOM.

Similarly, alternative manufacturer components and any associated supplier components can be easily added from the online search results.
